Overview of Bay Area Cancer Research Group

Bay Area Cancer Research Group (BACRG) is comprised of two recognized community-based oncology practices, East Bay Medical Oncology/Hematology Medical Associates, Inc. and Diablo Valley Oncology & Hematology Medical Group, Inc.

We specialize in phases I, II, III, and IV studies with indications such as lung, breast, colorectal, pancreatic, gastric/esophageal, kidney, melanoma, prostate, lymphoma, brain, and myeloma, NHL, and CLL. We also have experience and interests in blood studies.

BACRG is an independent research facility, centrally located to our four clinics in the San Francisco East Bay. One of our advantages is that our facility is not bound to an IRB, allowing us to implement trials to our sites in a timely manner. The other advantage of our research facility is that we have immediate access to a PET Imaging facility, California Imaging and Treatment Center, LLC, through our affiliation with the investigators.

Our experienced coordinating team successfully implements trials into our unique setting.

Our team of investigators is well known and respected members of the medical community who are committed to providing the highest quality care available to their patients.

Our clinical team includes a group of highly motivated and well trained nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, lab techs, and general support members. Their familiarity of clinical trials allows for the successful implementation and execution of clinical trials in our setting.
